Hidden gem! Ordered vegan pizza. Full of flavour, generous toppings. Lovely selection of wines. Efficient, friendly authetically Italian service! Bonus - open Sundays!!! Can't wait to come back.

Excellent service, and a great eggs Benie with fresh ciabatta toasted to perfection. I added mushroom and salad to make the perfect breakie. Good coffee also. This Cafe is perfect to recharge before a hectic supermarket weekly shop!

Great food, friendly staff, and fantastic prices. We did the $15 steak and $8 pint special on Tuesdays and had a delicious meal with some great drinks in a family friendly setting. Would highly recommend La Calabria

Appalling prices and appalling effort of cooking from the chef. Paid $55 for two omelettes and 2 coffees. The chef couldn’t even be bothered mixing the ingredients together and simply place them inside the egg omelette. Goes to show when new ownership that isn’t the authentic owners (Italian) really can run a place into the ground. Won’t ever be going back there.

A delightful hidden gem with great coffee, friendly service and $12 breakfast dishes. Love coming here and the value is an added bonus. The $12 breakfast options are creative and delicious with gluten free bread or a completely gluten free option available. They also offer soy milk and almond milk and their selection of cakes and muffins is impressive. We've come here a few times now and will be back in the future. Maybe next time we'll try dinner as the woodfired oven and wine selection is certainly enticing.

First time here for dinner since they change the owner. The shop start from breakfast hours till dinner time. Foods are good, staff very attentive and friendly. Price reasonable in a good portion. Will back again.

Calabria is a region located in southwest Italy. La Calabria is a traditional Italian restaurant operating since 4 years ago in Dog Swam shopping centre. The Piccola came with a free sweet and crunchy biscuit. It went well with the Piccola, a dark roasted coffee. Ms Ruth, the friendly manager, informed me there will be a promotion every Tuesday for Beef Steaks & Chips at $15. And every Thursday Fish & Chips at $10 only. All tap beers at $10 all time. What a deal right? Enjoy! (2021-12)
